Article V, Section 5:

Members are classified with respect to voting and other rights and responsibilities described in these Bylaws, into the following two (2) categories:

Category A: Active

Active members are those members who, in accordance with the duties described in Section 5 below:
attend services at this church on a regular basis (X #:#);
contribute more than once per year (X #:#); and
otherwise exhibit an active interest in the ministry of the church.

Category B: Inactive

Once during every calendar year, or more often at their discretion, the Board Of Elders shall survey the membership list and place in the inactive category members who have not qualified as active for a period of one year. The Board shall also have the power to restore to the active category, those inactive members who once again qualify as active.
