This church shall be called the Memorial Baptist Church of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.
The legal name of this corporation (hereinafter "church" or "organization") shall be "New Life Community Church of Huntingdon Valley". It shall be organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The church may elect to do business under such other fictitious names as the Deacons and Elders may from time to time determine to be appropriate or necessary for the business or ministries of the church.
The address of this church's primary office and place of worship, shall be: 2680 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
The second paragraph allows us to register a fictitious name of "Memorial Baptist Church of Huntingdon Valley", so that, for the time being, any remaining legal proceedings using that name can be effected. This may or not be necessary in that specific case, but it also enables us to register names for other ministry operations which we can not currently foresee, which may want to operate under other names. "6th Hour Coffee House" comes to mind as one example of a ministry which could potentially need this at some future time.
We are not currently prohibited from doing this, but we are not permitted to do so either, and it is not clear who would have the authority, as we have no President, Secretary, or Board of Directors/Trustees. The above paragraph clarifies that as well.
